    The fact is, the iPhone 4 does have a peculiar design that may cause reception issues. I’ve seen it myself and it is quite laughable that one area of a device is more sensitive than others. All phones, that have embedded antennae, have reception problems. If you hold it, you lose reception. How can you avoid that? Perhaps the iPhone antenna, while brilliantly exposed, is indeed a design flaw. But, you can’t get irate about it. Steve said it best:

    Retire, relax, enjoy your family. It is just a phone. Not worth it.

    It is just a phone. It’s exciting, innovative, and fantastic when you let go of the reception issue and just hold it differently or put a case on it. The bumper seems to have been made for the phone to solve the problem, and it actually makes the phone look better.
