    Well, the last match of the World Cup proved be an epic of some sorts. But, America as a whole probably didn’t appreciate it given the 110 minutes of seemingly non-offensive play. I found myself bored watching the same misses everytime and I think it obviously shows why the US still hasn’t embraced the cup like other countries. It’s only a small part of it of course — a large part is that the US doesn’t even make it past round of 16. I guess we should be pretty happy with that result. We just expect domination in so many sports that soccer should be no different.

    Anyway, congrats to Spain. And also congratulations to South Africa for proving they can be a fine host nation for a world-wide event.
