Nintendo is losing money, posting its first half year lost in SEVEN YEARS!

In the six months leading up to September 30, 2009, Nintendo sold 11.7 million DS units worldwide. In the six months leading up to September 30, 2010, that figure has dropped by nearly half, to 6.69 million.

But, at least when the new Zelda/Mario/cashcow comes out, there is a steady flow of cash no matter how you look at it. Maybe the next game should be “The Legend of Zelda: The Rupee Depression”
